PRESENTATION
The Research Group on Aquatic Ecosystems (GREA: Groupe de Recherche sur les Écosystèmes Aquatiques) is a recognized entity within the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (Québec, Canada). The aim of this group is to support and promote the development of large-scale research programs corresponding to the university's priorities. The GREA includes six faculty members and currently three postdoctoral fellows, two research assistants, and 35 to 40 graduate students.
Located in the centre of the St. Lawrence Valley near thousands of lakes and rivers of the Canadian Shield, the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) and the GREA are well situated for the study of aquatic ecosystems. |
