RESHEARCH CHAIR
The scientific director of GREA, Pierre Magnan, holds the Canada Research Chair in Freshwater Ecology. One of the main goals of this Chair is to promote and coordinate the development of research in freshwater ecology at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. The Canada Research Chair in Freshwater Ecology also supports the elaboration of integrated research programs and sustainable collaborations with other universities and governmental agencies involved in this field. One project of the Canada Research Chair in Freshwater Ecology is to coordinate the development of GREA’s research program on the fluvial lakes of the St. Lawrence River.
